Slot Machine Collection
At our Dakota Dunes Casino floor in Whitecap, Saskatchewan, we run over 620 slot machines across over 80,000 square feet. Penny slots from 0.01 CAD per spin and some progressive games allow up to 5 CAD maximum bets. You will see traditional mechanical reels, modern video slots, and linked progressive terminals on the main floor and inside the high limit room.
Several cabinets are multi-denomination, so you can move your wager up or down without leaving the chair. Progressive jackpots are connected across sets of terminals, which helps prize pools grow faster. Our video slots pack in bonus features, free spin triggers and small interactive touches that keep the play a bit more dynamic. The penny zones suit players who prefer smaller wagers and longer sessions on minimum bets.
We also keep a separate high limit room for guests looking for higher thresholds. These machines sit away from the main traffic, with their own attendant team and higher maximum bets than the regular floor. Limits there are designed for premium play and larger single-spin wagers.
| Machine Type | Min Bet | Max Bet | Area |

| Video Slots | 0.25 CAD | 5.00 CAD | Main Floor |
| Progressive Jackpots | 0.50 CAD | 5.00 CAD | Main Floor |
| High Limit Slots | 5.00 CAD | 100.00 CAD | High Limit Room |
Gaming Floor Layout
On the main floor, we group our machines by denomination and type. You will find sections for penny games, quarter slots, dollar machines and various specialty titles. Overhead signs above each cluster show the typical bet ranges in that area, so you can see quickly where your budget fits.
Aisle markers and large jackpot displays help you orient yourself while you walk the floor. Our attendants are spread around the gaming area for questions, hand-pay jackpots and simple machine issues. If you have questions or need help on the gaming floor, attendants are available to assist with machine issues or to provide information about how to play. Change machines and redemption kiosks sit near entrances and at the edges between sections, so cashouts and ticket changes do not take long.
We open from 9am to 4am on Sunday through Tuesday, on Wednesday from 9am to midnight, and around the clock from Thursday through Saturday. Entry requires age 19 or older with proper ID, and our dress code remains casual, which most guests find comfortable for slot sessions.
The high limit room uses a separate doorway with a staff check. Inside, the pace is quieter, with beverage service brought right to your machine. Attendants there handle higher value transactions and will walk through basic game features or betting structures if you ask.
How to Play Slots
Playing our slot machines follows the same pattern across almost all cabinets. You insert cash or a ticket voucher into the bill acceptor and the balance appears on the credit meter, shown as credits or in dollars based on the machine settings. Then you pick your wager and spin.
Typical steps look like this:
- Insert Canadian bills or a valid ticket into the front validator.
- Wait a moment for your credits to update on the display.
- Use the plus and minus buttons to choose bet per line.
- If the title allows it, pick the number of active paylines.
- Press the spin button or pull the handle where available.
- Open the paytable screen to check symbols and winning combinations.
- Raise or lower your bet between spins, or keep your current level.
- Press cash out when you finish so the machine prints your ticket.
The printed voucher shows a barcode and the remaining credit amount. You can insert that ticket into another machine to continue playing or head to a redemption kiosk or cashier to exchange it for cash. Each ticket follows the expiration information that is printed directly on the voucher.
Bonus features start by themselves when the right symbol combination lands. The machine will switch into a bonus mode and walk you through the feature without extra steps. Free spins work the same way and they always use the wager that triggered them.
